RecycleMania 2017 (Feb. 5 - Apr. 1st)
RecycleMania is here again and this year EKU is hoping to improve upon our ranking from last year
We will be comparing our recycling and landfill waste totals against other local and National Universities, including the likes of Berea College, Centre College, Morehead State, NKU, UK, & UofL - therefore bragging rights are at stake!
Do your best to reduce your waste to landfill - read up on "What goes where?" and recycle properly.
Each week we will be reporting our weights of landfill waste, recycled paper, bottles and cans over the 8 week competition. We will be competing on the following criteria:
Landfill diversion rate (%)
Total weight of recyclables recovered (lbs)
Total weight of recyclables recovered per person (lbs/person)
