Live @ Your Library: George Ella Lyon
Tomorrow, enjoy an evening with Kentucky Poet Laureate George Ella Lyon. Her current project is entitled, “The Poetry of Witness," which includes poems and a song written in response to our collective moment—some inspired by the media and others by children Lyon has met on school visits.
Lyon is author of works for children, teens, and adults, including: "Where I'm From," "A Kentucky Christmas," "The Pirate of Kindergarten," "Borrowed Children," and more.
