Taylor Fork Nature Walks: Stream Ecology

  
Come join graduate students, Davy Black and Logan Phelps, at EKU’s natural area Taylor Fork Ecological Area to learn about streams and observe the methods of electrofishing and macroinvertebrate sampling. Wading in rubber boots or sandals is an option to be more involved. The hike will be on March 24, 2017 at 2:00pm and will last about 1 hour. Please RSVP to kaitlyn_kelly32@mymail.eku.edu.
Please dress for the weather. The paths are mowed, you will require sturdy walking shoes.
Directions:Taylor Fork Ecological Area is adjacent to south campus. Take Kit Carson Dr to McKinney Skills Dr, then follow the dirt road on the right through the gate.
