Chautauqua Lecture: Sara Goldrick-Rab on the Transformation of Higher Ed - Thurs. Sept. 7, 7:30 PM

  
Bestselling author and sociologist Sara Goldrick-Rab will discuss “The Transformation of Higher Education: The New Economics of College and Their Consequences,” Thurs. Sept 7, 7:30 p.m. in O’Donnell Hall, in the first lecture of the 2017-18 Chautauqua "Transformations" series. Free and open to the public. Attendance slips provided.

Hailed as “one of the top 50 people shaping American politics” (Politico Magazine), Sara Goldrick-Rab is the author of “Paying the Price: College Costs, Financial Aid, and the Betrayal of the American Dream.” She has been featured on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, in the New York Review of Books and on CSPAN’s Book TV. She is the founder of the Wisconsin HOPE Lab (Harvesting Opportunities for Postsecondary Education), dedicated to finding innovative ways to make college more affordable and accessible.
