Taylor Fork Nature Walks: Invasive Plants and Methods for Control

  
Come join David Brown to hike the grassy paths of EKU’s natural area Taylor Fork Ecological Area to learn about invasive plant species and the methods for removal. Work has been done at Taylor Fork for many species including bush and Japanese honeysuckle, Bradford Pear and multiflora rose. The hike will be on Thursday February 15, 2018 at 4:30pm and will last about 1 hour. Please RSVP to kaitlyn_kelly32@mymail.eku.edu.
Please dress for the weather. You will require sturdy walking shoes.
Directions: Taylor Fork Ecological Area is adjacent to south campus. Take Kit Carson Dr to McKinney Skills Dr, then follow the dirt road on the right through the gate.
