Joycelyn Wilson will speak on "The Outkast Imagination: Hip Hop Education and Transformative Pedagogy". Her talk serves as the keynote address for National Black History Month.

Educator, speaker, writer, style junkie, and hip-hop scholar Joycelyn Wilson is an Assistant Professor of Black Media Studies and Educational Anthropologist in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication in the Ivan Allen College at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is an alumni fellow of the Harvard Hip Hop Archive and the Founding Co-Chair of the Hip Hop Theories, Pedagogies, and Praxis Special Interest Group for the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
