Taylor Fork Nature Walks: Spring Birds

  
Come join graduate student, Kaitlyn Kelly, to hike the grassy paths of EKU’s natural area Taylor Fork Ecological Area to learn how to identify common birds by sight and sound. Please bring binoculars if you can. Depending on weather, you may observe birds up close and the banding process. The hike will be on Thursday April 5 at 4:30 pm and will last about 1 hour. Please RSVP to kaitlyn_kelly32@mymail.eku.edu.
Please dress for the weather. You will require sturdy walking shoes.
Directions: Taylor Fork Ecological Area is adjacent to south campus. Take Kit Carson Dr to McKinney Skills Dr, then follow the dirt road on the right through the gate. Meet at the astronomy telescope deck parking area to shuttle down to the entrance of Taylor Fork Ecological Area. Please click "More on this Announcement" for detailed map of the area.
