Wanted: Americorps STEM Graduate Students
Academic Readiness seeks two graduate students with backgrounds in mathematics, technology, science, health science, or education with a focus in any of these fields to serve as Americorps staff members during the 2018-19 academic year. These 11-month-positions will begin September 5. Selected applicants will receive a living stipend throughout the 11-month term of service, plus an educational stipend once service is completed. Each Americorps member will be responsible for mentoring a caseload of 30 undergraduate STEM students and will assist the Director, Assistant Director, and Postsecondary Navigator develop and deliver student success-focused programming.
