Moving Out? Lighten Your Load by Donating Unwanted Items
In an effort to divert reusable goods from entering our landfills the Office of Sustainability has partnered with EKU Housing and Facilities on a Sustainable Move Out. Your donations to the following organizations will directly benefit your fellow students, residents of Madison County, and children across the world. Donation bins are located in your lobby. Ask your RA about larger items such as mini fridges.
Colonel’s Cupboard/Upward Bound – non-perishable food, gently used clothing, unopened toiletries, and accessories such as backpacks
Salvation Army – housewares & office supplies
Habitat for Humanity ReStore – furniture & appliances
International Book Project – Lightly used books
