National Roll Call and Veterans Day Ceremony
EKU Military & Veteran Affairs will host the National Roll Call on Monday, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day. The National Roll Call project is a national grassroots effort to make Veterans Day on every campus a special time of appreciation and reflection. The 2019 National Roll Call honors those who have served and are serving, as well as the fallen.
Volunteer readers will begin reading names at 6:00 am, and will read until all of the names of our fallen soldiers from recent military conflicts have been recognized. A bell will be sounded for soldiers from Kentucky. The formal Veterans Day ceremony will follow at 1:30 pm. Please join us as we honor and remember our military servicemembers and veterans.
