Spring Nature Exploration Series: WINTER TREE ID

Learning to Identify trees can be challenging, especially in winter months. So come join the experts on a winter walk through some of the walking trails at Taylor Fork Ecological Area (TFEA). By the end of our hike, you will know how to identify some of the different tree and shrub species that can be found at TFEA by their winter features, as well as learn some fun and interesting facts about the species & families that we come across. Although the focus will be on woody species, there will be chances to learn about other interesting species that we come across.

Be sure to dress for cooler weather and for a brisk hike, bringing water is encouraged.
