Dr. Christa Slaton, the third of three finalists to become EKU’s next Senior Vice President for Academics and Provost, is visiting the Richmond campus today. An open forum will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in Brock Auditorium. Finalists Dr. John Omachonu and Dr. Scott Furlong visited campus earlier this week. For links to live streams and archived forum videos, information about the finalists and their full itineraries, visit http://provostsearch.eku.edu/candidates. Faculty, staff and students can also access the forum videos and evaluations through EKU Direct. Today's live stream will be available as an archived video as soon as possible after the conclusion of the forum at the above website, which will also include evaluation forms for each candidate. All videos and evaluation forms will be available until 8 p.m. today (Friday, April 21).

Are you interested in learning about fur-bearers and trapping as a means of fur-bearer harvest? If so, be sure to take advantage of the opportunity your student chapter of The Wildlife Society has arranged just for people like you! On Saturday, April 22nd,from 8:00am - 4:00pm,The Wildlife Society will be hosting the United Trappers of Kentucky (UTK) at Central Wildlife Management Area. UTK will be discussing trapping as a means of harvest, demonstrating how to properly set traps,demonstrating how to process pelts, and more! Lunch will be provided, but please dress for the weather and bringing a water bottle and some snacks are never a bad idea.

Seniors...you've finally made it to the event you've all been waiting for...the opportunity to get into the Powell Plaza Fountain in the middle of the day without anyone stopping you! Come out Monday and Tuesday of next week (April 24th and 25th) and take a picture in a cap and gown! We will be there from 11am - 3pm both days. Come alone or with friends. We will provide the cap and gown, but if you have honors sashes or cords, bring those with you! We'll see you there!

A fourth-generation Deaf individual originally from Minnesota, Dack emerged on the performance circuit after a video he made went viral on YouTube, Mountain Dew Man. His amazing ability to make stories come alive through his hands, whether in ASL or on paper, has entertained people all around the world. His top-notch performances combined with outstanding content and a plot laden with twists and turns make all of his performances memorable.
