While this is a Domestic Violence Awareness Month event, EVERYONE and ANYONE is welcome to sign-up! No matter who you are or what you have experienced, all of us face trauma, big and small, as well as everyday stress which prevents us from feeling grounded, safe, and present. Part of living a healthy life and practicing self-care requires us to recognize when we are struggling with those traumas and/or stress. We need to get in touch with these emotions to determine how they are impacting us or creating tension in not just our mind, but also in our bodies and work through them. Join us and instructor, Leah Van Winkle, a trainee in Ampersand’s Trauma Sensitive Yoga Pilot program, for this meaningful and valuable yoga workshop.
