Come out and help support EKU Division of Natural Areas Service Learning projects through their Christmas ornament fundraiser!
There will be tables set up with instructions and all materials needed, or make your own design. All ornaments are $5. There will be pre-made Grinch, Jack Skellington, wildlife themed, and Dreaming Creek ornaments for purchase if you don't want to make them. We will also be able to personalize ornaments if you wish at no additional cost!
Dreaming Creek is a family (and dog) friendly business, so bring your friends and families out to support a great educational opportunity. We will also have supplies set out so the kids can write letters to Santa! Event Date: December 15; 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Location: Dreaming Creek Brewery Cost: $5

SENIORS!! To be eligible for Fall 2019 student teaching, you MUST complete an online application. The application will automatically open at midnight on February 1st and close at midnight on February 15th. The application will be on EKU Direct under the Student Services and Financial Aid tab. It will be the 10th folder. Once you have submitted the forms, go to the board of education at the county of your FIRST preference and have a background check completed. The Savannah Cross and Fred C. Short Endowed Scholarship will award two-$2,500 scholarships for the spring. Eligibility requirements:
• freshman or sophomore in Elementary Education
• 3.2 GPA
• Preference for first generation college students
• Special preference for students from Pulaski County
Applicants will write an essay demonstrating their academic achievement and community service.

The Mattox, Whitlock, and Alumni Coliseum parking lots will be reserved for EKU Graduation on December 14. These lots will be closed beginning at 7:30 AM until 6:30 PM. Please make arrangements to park in the EKU Parking Garage or Big E lot next to Stratton. There will be a shuttle from Big E lot to campus. Students -ever thought about getting a Master's degree? Think about a graduate degree in Recreation and Park Administration! The RPA 3+2 program allows EKU juniors with a 3.2 GPA to take three courses that count toward your undergraduate and graduate degrees! Most students can finish their masters in one year after that. A masters in RPA compliments a LOT of undergraduate degrees! Check us out! Event Date: January 14 Cost: None
