The College of Letters, Arts, & Social Sciences (CLASS) is offering a $500 stipend to a graduating student to present a commencement speech at the Fall 2019 Graduation Ceremony. To be eligible, you must have applied for Fall or Winter 2019 Graduation within CLASS.
•Speeches should be about 4-5 minutes in length, which is about 3-4 pages of double-spaced text.
•MSWord or Rich Text Format, double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font, with normal one-inch margins
•At the top of text please include full name, EKU ID number, major, expected degree, and department.
Submit speeches before the end of the day Friday, October 11th, by sending an e-mail attachment of the text to Dr. Amy Thieme at amy.thieme@eku.edu.
Interviews with finalists will be Friday, November 1st.
