Kappa Alpha Theta invites YOU to Rock the CASA!

The College of Science is offering a stipend, up to $500, to a graduating student to present a commencement speech at the Fall 19 Graduation Ceremony. •You have to be a Fall or Winter 2019 graduate.
•Speeches should be about 5-6 minutes in length/4-6 pages of double-spaced text.

The Faculty Leadership Award is presented to an EKU faculty member who exhibits exemplary leadership at EKU. The Department of History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies is sponsoring the EKU Bioethics Bowl. The Bioethics Bowl is a debate-style team competition focusing on ethical issues in the practice of medicine and/or biomedical research. The EKU Bioethics Bowl is open to teams of 3-5 EKU undergraduates from any major. 1st prize is $50 per team member and the chance to compete in the 2020 National Bioethics Bowl. 2nd prize is $25 per team member. Interested teams should send a list of team members to Laura Newhart at by October 12. Please consider participating in this fun and professionally valuable activity. The Department of History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies offers an 18 credit hour Minor in Applied Ethics.
