EKU Colonel's Cupboard will be closed from Monday, December 16th until Tuesday, January 7th due to Christmas Break. If you are in need of any food, clothing, or toiletry items before then, come see us during our walk in hours! Those can be found here: https://communityservice.eku.edu/Cupboard We will re-open with normal hours on January 7th. Also, if you are going to be staying on campus during Christmas break and will need food, we will have food boxes located at both South and Martin Hall-- both of which the RHC's can be contacted to assist you.

Tonight at EKU Chautauqua, Chip Colwell of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science gives the Native American Heritage Keynote Address, "Plundered Skulls and Stolen Spirits: Reclaiming Native America's Heritage." Attendance provided. Chip Colwell is founder of the SAPIENS online anthropology journal and Senior Curator of Anthropology at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. With a PhD from Indiana University, he has held numerous major fellowships and served on the boards of the American Anthropologist, American Antiquity and the International Journal of Cultural Property. He has published more than 50 academic articles and book chapters and 11 books, including, most recently, Plundered Skulls and Stolen Spirits: Inside the Fight to Reclaim Native America's Culture. His work has been highlighted in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Foreign Affairs, Archaeology Magazine, BBC and TED.

Serving as a learning partner on our Alternative Spring Break Program is a great way to connect with students and make an impact. As learning partner, you work closely with the student trip leader to facilitate the trip and creating a meaningful experience for participants. On Friday, December 6th at 3:30 p.m. Richmond Parks and Recreation will be using the east side of the Alumni Coliseum Lot (State Police/Begley Building) as a staging area for its annual Christmas Parade. Commuter permit holders are encouraged to park on the west side of the Alumni Coliseum commuter parking lot (Model) if they anticipate being parked beyond 3:30 p.m. on Friday December 6th. All vehicles parked on the east side of the Alumni Coliseum will need to be removed prior to 3:30 p.m.
