Welcome back students for another wonderful semester here at Eastern Kentucky University. Over the past couple years construction for the new Student Recreation Center has been underway and we are finally able to open our doors to you. Anyone that visits the Student Recreation Center when we open on Monday will receive a free t-shirt and water bottle (limited supply). Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you on January 13th at 5:30am.

Need a great elective for the Spring 2020 Semester?! Want to learn the skills to be an Outdoor Leader? REC 290 Adventure Programming will do just that while teaching you the history, philosophy and background of outdoor recreation and experiential education. This class will meet only once a week on Wednesday from 2:30-5:50 pm with one mandatory overnight trip! Don't worry, we can provide all of the gear you'll need. Hurry and sign up for the Spring 2020 semester while spots are still available!

Student Life & First-Year Experience is on the move! As we transition to our new office location in the Powell Student Center, we will be holding office hours in the old Fitness & Wellness Center from 8:30pm-4:30pm the week of January 13th-17th. The Powell Student Center will not be open to students at this time, but more information on that is coming soon. With questions, please head to our website or call the office!
