Alpha Phi Sigma is an international Criminal Justice Honors Society focusing on academic excellence and community service. We would like to invite all criminal justice and related majors out to our Bob Ross Paint night to meet us and learn about our organization! All materials provided, just bring yourself and the will to try something new!

Join the Society of Student Anthropologists at EKU tonight from 6:30 to 8 in room 128 of the library for an evening of fun with mummies, coffins, and pyramids.
A presentation on the burial practices of ancient Egypt will be given followed by a race to mummify a friend and prepare them for the afterlife. Any student can enter and put their wrapping skills to the test. Mummies will be judged and prizes given for the top 3!
Free pizza and drinks will be provided on a first come first served basis! We hope to see you all there!

Student Activities Council will be hosting our annual Safe Sex Bingo event this Thursday, March 5th! This event is put together every spring semester before spring break to promote and encourage safe sex. We will be giving away fanny packs, sunglasses, tons of condoms, and 10 awesome prize baskets. The College of Letters, Arts, & Social Sciences (CLASS) is offering a $500 stipend to a graduating student to present a commencement speech at the Spring 2020 Graduation Ceremony. To be eligible, you must have applied for Spring or Summer 2020 Graduation within CLASS. •Speeches should be about 4-5 minutes in length, which is about 3-4 pages of double-spaced text.
•MSWord or Rich Text Format, double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font, with normal one-inch margins
•At the top of text please include full name, EKU ID number, major, expected degree, and department. Submit speeches before the end of the day March 20, 2020, by sending an e-mail attachment of the text to Dr. Amy Thieme at amy.thieme@eku.edu. Social Scientists and students of Kentucky, You are cordially invited to present your research at EKU's second annual Social Science Undergraduate Research Symposium. Undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and community members engaged in community research all encouraged to present their and/or attend this free event. Presenters and attendees may attend as many or as few as fifty minute sessions as desired. Our theme for this symposium is Health and Justice in Appalachia. We encourage submissions on this theme however, research and discussions on any aspect of social science will be gladly accepted. Awards including a small cash prize will be given for Best Student Papers. Submissions are due at midnight!
