Untapped Brilliance is a group for those living with ADHD. This group is designed to tap into the skills and talents that are a part of living with ADHD and develop strategies to use those gifts in every part of life. This virtual group is provided by the EKU Counseling Center and is hosted through a secure video platform. Coping with COVID is an affirming support group for students who have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and are in isolation. This is a weekly virtual support group offered three times per week.

This fair is open to ALL STUDENTS! This is a university-wide, all majors, all classes, career fair. Visit this virtual fair to learn about different companies hiring EKU Talent and network with employers seeking part-time, co-op, internship, and full-time positions! Graduate schools will also be participating to connect with students seeking to further their education. Registration is required, but you may register the same day as the event. If you do not register ahead of time, you will likely miss opportunities to meet one-on-one with desired employers or listen in on organizations' group presentations. There is no dress code for this event; however, you want to remember that there will be several opportunities for the employer to see you and you want to make the best impression! It is recommended that you dress to impress!

Javier Colon, the first winner of The Voice, will be performing at 9:00pm on September 29th! Javier will be remote, but we will be streaming the performance from Powell 219. A Zoom link will be provided to students who can't attend in person.

The College of Letters, Arts, & Social Sciences (CLASS) is offering a $500 stipend to a graduating student to present a commencement speech at the Fall 2020 Graduation Ceremony. To be eligible, you must have applied for Fall or Winter 2020 graduation within CLASS. Please check your EKU student email for directions on submitting an electronic and video recorded version of your speech. Submissions should be sent to amy.thieme@eku.edu, and are due by Friday, October, 23, 5 p.m.

Join the staff of the EKU Counseling Center today for a Workshop on Emotional Regulation. Regardless of whether you’re at home or school, every day we can experience a wide range of emotions. This workshop will focus on the most scientifically backed methods of managing your emotions, provide activities and tools that can help you feel more grounded and in control of your emotional functioning.

EKU's Workforce Development and Community Engagement in partnership with MindEdge has made three free online non-credit courses available. The courses leading to the Certificate in Creativity and Innovation are: Introduction to Critical Thinking; Personal Creativity; and Creativity in Teams and Organizations. The material can be accessed through a user-friendly delivery platform, which employs best-practice implementations around integration and accessibility practices crucial to the long-term sustainability of online learning efforts.
