FREE TAX RETURN HELP: Accounting Students Offer Assistance

  
Accounting students offer free tax help for people who make $51,000 or less and need assistance in preparing income tax returns. Students are IRS-certified to provide free basic income tax return preparation to qualified individuals on and off campus. Students will prepare federal and Kentucky tax returns, or they will serve as consultants for those who would like to prepare their own tax returns but have questions as they do so. Free e-filing. Call 211 (off-campus United Way phone line) to schedule appointment. Appointments still available for our final session on Monday, March 25, between 5 and 8 p.m.

You will need to bring Social Security cards, picture ID, W-2s and other income doucments, last year's returns if available, and other information listed at www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=107626,00.html.
