FACULTY DEVELOPMENT: Introduction to Rubrics

You are getting carpal tunnel syndrome from typing the same comment on almost every student paper. You worry about grading with consistency and fairness, and you realize you need to streamline your grading procedures. A well-written rubric will help you with these tasks.

Join us for a session led by IDC's Dr. Nedim Slijepcevic, in which we will discuss types of rubrics and the rubric creation process which involves selecting evaluation criteria and scale (levels of achievement).

Come over to Commonwealth 1801 for an interesting discussion — or view it online via Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/398137828. (Enter your first and last name and log in as guest.)

Event Date: February 13  12:30-1:30 p.m.  Location: Commonwealth 1801 and streamed  Cost: Free
Contact Information: Nedim Slijepcevic, 622-4839
