MUSIC: African Dance and Drumming Workshop

  
Free workshop and performance opportunity for EKU students and community members. Learn traditional Ghanaian dance and music from guest artists Bernard Woma (Ghanaian master drummer and xylophone virtuoso) and Joyce Woma, choreographer for the Ghanaian performing troupe Sakaamu. Join us and participate in this unique cultural event. No prior experience required.

The workshops will be held April 22 and 23, in the Campbell Building dance studio, room 137.

The workshop performance for the EKU African Heritage Diversity Concert will take place on April 24 in O'Donnell Hall, Whitlock Building. Dress rehearsal is at 4 p.m., and the performance is at 6 p.m.
