ONLINE TEACHING YOGA: Combining Pedagogical Strengths with Flexibility in Instruction

Join us for an informative session led by Dr. Beth Polin, an assistant professor of management with many years of online teaching experience. During the session, Dr. Polin will discuss the online student unique expectations when it comes to assignment schedule and course due dates in general. After all, they are choosing to take online courses because of the flexibility such courses provide. This session will provide participants with strategies for maintaining pedagogical integrity while meeting the scheduling demands of online students.

Dr. Polin will also discuss the changes she has made to her online courses over the years, specifics related to her successes and mistakes, pedagogy, and student feedback (anecdotal and formal course evaluations).
