FACULTY PD: Using VoiceThreads to Increase Student Engagement

The Instructional Design Center is hosting VoiceThread led, virtual training today. For those not familiar with this technology, VoiceThread is a web-based application that enables students and teachers to communicate asynchronously via text, video and audio. It lets instructors create interactive lectures and assessments, and students design interactive presentations and rich interactions.

The session will cover basic to intermediate VoiceThread features, showcase examples from real courses and demonstrate how VoiceThread works in Blackboard.

You can also join the event virtually by registering at this link or you can join us in Commonwealth Hall 1801. Once registered, you will receive a session link via email.

Event Date: September 04  11 a.m.  Location: Commonwealth Hall 1801 and Online  Cost: Free
