COLLEGE OF SCIENCE: Celebrates Diversity

The College of Science commemorates Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting scientists with Hispanic and Latino heritage. Stop by the Science Building lobby and learn about current and past STEM trailblazers. From a 16th century geographer and mathematician who changed the way we navigate, to the founder of Latina Girls Code, the contributions of Hispanic and Latino STEM practitioners have impacted the world. Each month, the College of Science will highlight a different population of diverse STEM professionals, so stop back throughout the year to learn about more unsung STEM heroes.
