WOODCOCK WALK: Taylor Fork Spring Nature Series
Looking for something to do in the midst of social distancing? Get outdoors. Spring is upon us, which means it's a great time of year to hear woodcock calling and to see their amazing display flights at Taylor Fork Ecological Area. They begin calling and displaying after sunset, as it’s getting dark. They’ll begin flying and whirring their wings with a buzzy display flight. So come join us on this exciting nature excursion. Binoculars are not necessary and the trip will take approximately one hour.
Please dress for the weather. The paths are mowed; you will require sturdy walking shoes.
