EKU students Jonas Ertel and Tyler Moberly became the College Bass National Championship winners during competition July 9-10 in North Little Rock, Ark.

The national championship, sponsored by ESPN, will be shown on ESPNU tonight, Saturday night, and Sunday morning. Programs will air at 5 p.m. tonight, July 30; 3 p.m. tomorrow, July 31; and 3 a.m., Aug. 1.

TracDat Basics (2.5 hours session)
For those with no previous TracDat experience. This session will cover logging into TracDat, navigating, department setup, entering action plans and entering results, and using various TracDat reports.

TracDat Refresher (1.5 hours session)
For TracDat users who have used TracDat in the past, but need a refresher. Because sessions will focus on questions asked by those in attendance, the topics covered in each session may vary. This session will move more quickly than TracDat Basics.

Students will learn different hand-building techniques: slab building, coil building and pinch pots. This class will also include mosaic art with clay. The instructor will fire and glaze the pots outside of class time. Participants will take home completed pots! Participants should bring a small bucket to hold a cup of water, an old toothbrush and sponge. A supply fee of $12 is due to the instructor, with checks payable to ASA Ceramics. Ages 5-12. Class will meet Saturdays, Aug. 7-28.

The perfect class for your daughters! Girls ages 7 to 12 will have a blast meeting new friends and learning the technique of French braiding, while also having their hair braided. The girls will also "fancy" themselves up by working with beads and even having their nails done! A fun afternoon of pampering awaits!
