The Department of Environmental Health and Safety has purchased masks for full- and part-time EKU faculty and staff in an effort to help maintain a healthy work environment. Staff Council has organized a drive-thru for ease of distribution from Aug. 10-13. Each employee will receive two masks. One person is encouraged to pick up masks for a department or similar units; however, individual employees are also welcome. Graduate assistants and student employees are not included.

If picking up for a large number of employees, fill out this form prior to the drive-thru.

The student Success Center made some minor changes to our syllabus language for the fall 2020 semester. Consider adding this information on your course syllabus for the upcoming semester:

The Student Success Center, located on the ground floor of the library and online, provides free assistance for all EKU students. Students can request tutoring in over 150 subjects, as well as other services including mentoring, workshops, advising, studying, computer use, and with any questions related to your college experience. The Chellgren Success Series features workshops and video workshops to help with study skills, time management, stress management, and more. The fall 2020 Teaching & Learning Innovation (TLI) Series schedule is available now. It includes over 15 TLI sessions presented by faculty colleagues.

In accordance with safety guidelines, fall 2020 FCT&L programs will be offered remotely in real time via Zoom and available for access after the session via video, along with slides and resources referenced during the session. Face-to-face sessions will not be offered this semester.
