Veterans Studies Invited Speaker – Moe Armstrong, Founder of Vet-to-Vet Peer Mentoring Program
The Kentucky Center for Veterans Studies (KCVS) regularly invites individuals with unique perspectives on veterans’ issues to speak to classes and the larger campus community. Join us for a talk with Moe Armstrong, a decorated combat veteran of the US Marine Corps. Mr. Armstrong uses his recovery and education to help others struggling with mental illness. He has set up peer support networks across the country, including the “Vet to Vet,” a program at Errera Community Care Center. Vet to Vet that uses education, peer mentoring, and writing to help those on the path to recovery. Come hear Moe’s story. All are welcome!
