SNAP Eligibility To Include Students
Are you in need of assistance to pay for food?
For a temporary time, students enrolled at least half-time (6 to 11 credit hours) are eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, SNAP. Students can qualify for SNAP benefits if they meet at least one of the two criteria.
1. Eligible to participate in state or federal work-study. Students do not have to actually be participating in the program.
2. Have an EFC, expected family contribution, of 0 in the current academic year.
The temporary exemption will be in effect until 30 days after the COVID-19 public health emergency has been lifted.
