AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps Fall/Spring Service, Lancaster
AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps at EKU is seeking six members to serve with us at the Catholic Action Center's Divine Providence sustainable garden project located at Cliffview, a substance abuse treatment center in Lancaster. Members will serve in Fall and Spring, 15-25 service hours per week depending on the service slot. Tasks will include harvesting, preparing food for community distribution, caring for fruit trees, chickens, earthworms, preparing the greenhouse for fall/winter planting, possibility of preparing and distributing educational materials on sustainable gardening/food security.
