Join AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps in 21-22!
Our disaster services AmeriCorps program seeks six (6) members to serve in Lancaster on a sustainable garden project that benefits Garrard County and involves participants in the Divine Providence Garden/Cliffview substance abuse treatment center. KY Ready Corps members serve part-time, between 15-20 service hours per week starting September 1, 2021 and ending either December 2021 or May 2022. Member duties include gardening, harvesting, food preparation and distribution and winter greenhouse planting. Candidates must enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for community service. Students can earn internship and other course credit for service with us! Benefits include a modest living allowance and education award.
