Latino Heritage Month: March to Save the Amazon

We invite you to March to Save the Amazonian Rainforests and River Basin on Wednesday, September 29th.

This annual event raises awareness of the destruction of these lands that are not just home to still undocumented and undiscovered flora and fauna, but are also vital to the health and safety of the entire globe.

Meet at the Crabbe Library entrance @9:45 am, ending at the Latino Street Fair at Powell Plaza. We ask that you wear orange and green to show unity and support for the cause. We encourage you to bring a sign, flag or other item for visual impact.

Contact Manuel Cortés-Castañeda (manuel.cortes-castaneda@eku.edu) for more information.
