Veterans Studies Invited Speaker – Lt. Col. Deborah Daley, Scholar of American War Literature
The Kentucky Center for Veterans Studies (KCVS) regularly invites individuals to speak to the campus community. Join us for a talk with Lt. Col. Deborah Daley, an Adjutant General’s Corps officer with 17 years of service. She deployed twice (Kuwait in 2005; Iraq in 2008) before rotating to serve as an instructor in the Department of English and Philosophy at the United States Military Academy. Her most recent assignment was as the Brigade S1 (Senior HR Officer) for the 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team (BCT). She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Kentucky and upon graduation will serve as an Academy Professor at the United States Military Academy. LTC Daley’s scholarship focuses on gender, performance, and geographies in contemporary war stories.
