Internship Opportunity, Lexington Emergency Management AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps
Want a paid internship this summer? Interested in community service? Serve with AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps at Lexington Emergency Management, in a weather emergency preparedness project! Two members, one a lead member, will serve a total of 300 hours between mid-May and mid-August, approximately 20-25 service hours per week, creating preparedness materials and weather radio packages and deliver them to Lexington KY mobile home parks, as well as support for additional Lexington Be Ready projects. Significant benefits include a $2000 living allowance, $1374 education award at end of service, and valuable professional development.
