Celebrate Earth Day: Watch Party for Symposium on Kentucky Disasters & Health
To celebrate Earth Day, the EKU Department of Environmental Health Science and EKU's Public Health Program have partnered with UK, WKU, and Louisville to host a watch party for the John P. Wyatt Environment and Health Symposium. Starting at 10 a.m., there will be a live interactive viewing of a panel of Kentucky's experts on extreme weather events, climate, and public health impacts. Lunch will be provided at 11:15 a.m. in Dizney 212 and at noon we will view the keynote address from Dr. Aubrey Miller titled "Health Impacts of Disasters and Climate Change: Challenges and Opportunities." Dr. Miller is the Senior Medical Advisor to the Director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences at NIH. Feel free to come and go, RSVPs are requested to jason.marion@eku.edu.
