Looking for a meaningful summer work experience or internship? Serve with the American Red Cross Kentucky Region, and AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps! We are seeking members to serve with the Red Cross in Louisville, Lexington, Owensboro, Paducah, Bowling Green, Elizabethtown and Hazard. Duties will include preparedness outreach/education, participation in Disaster Action Teams, volunteer recruitment/management, assistance in updating Shelter Agreements. Serve a total of 300 hours, 20-25 per week May 16-August 15. Benefits include $2000 living allowance, $1374 education award, valuable professional development and service to your community.
