E-Sport Summer Class
Looking for a fun summer class?! ESS 590 (Special Topics) in E-Sports (CRN 50822) is being offered this summer online (8-week course) by the EKU Department of Exercise and Sport Science.
Objectives of the Class:
* Understand E-sports business principles and practices.
*Identify and explain the roles of different stakeholders in the E-sports industry.
* Understand different technology used by E-sports players, teams, leagues, and events.
* Organize, manage, and evaluate various E-sports business operations and activities (e.g., marketing, sponsorship, events, venue management, communications, finance and economics, legal issues).
* Organize, assemble, and manage the recruitment of E-sports personnel, including players, coaches, and support staff.
* Assess new opportunities arising in the E-sports industry.
