Seeking Part-Time AmeriCorps KY Ready Members, Sustainable Garden Project
KY Ready Corps is recruiting community and sustainability minded members to serve part-time in a garden/food insecurity project hosted by the Catholic Action Center at their treatment/retreat center in Lancaster. Service begins September 6, 2022, and 300 and 450 total hour service hour slots are available for service until December 2022 or May 2023, at 10-15 hours per week. Activities include harvesting, garden maintenance and planning for spring, food insecurity education projects for adults and children and the satisfaction of giving back to the community through AmeriCorps service.
