Seeking AmeriCorps KY Ready Interns, Fayette, Madison and Garrard County
We are seeking students to serve part-time with our disaster services focused program, AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps, at locations in and around Madison County. This is a great internship/co-op opportunity, with significant benefits!
Currently we have 15-25 hour/week one or two semester openings at: Lexington Red Cross, God's Outreach Madison County Food Bank, Richmond Catholic Action Center's sustainable garden project in Lancaster, and Social Media Manager for KY Ready Corps at EKU.
Benefits include a living allowance of $2200-$2700 an education award at end of service of $1374-$1718 (amounts dependent on service slot hours), professional development and training, meaningful work and an opportunity to give back to the community.
