National Preparedness Month

Do you know how to protect yourself during disasters and emergencies? September is National Preparedness Month and it's a great time to consider what you can do to prepare yourself.

In an emergency, people go through, and sometimes get stuck in, the following phases: Denial, Deliberation, and Decisive Action.

EKU's Emergency Action Plan can be found at:

The Eastern Kentucky University Police Department is open 24 hours a day. All fires or other emergencies on Richmond Campus should be reported as soon as possible by dialing 911 from a campus telephone or, if by cell phone, 859-622-1111. Be sure to specify where you are; whether you are on EKU’s campuses, and your exact location.

Event Date: September 07
