Green Dot for the LGBTQIA Community
Did you know that people who identify as LGBTQIA are nearly four times more likely to experience violence than the general population?
The Alphabet Center is sponsoring a special Green Dot presentation geared specifically for the LGBTQIA community. Women & Gender Studies Prof. Ashton Chaffins will be presenting and will not only provide information about violence but also will prepare audience members to be a better bystander within the LGBTQIA community and a better ally if you're not part of the community.
Proof of attendance will be provided.
