Paid Service Opportunity with Lexington Red Cross!
Our AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps program seeks people passionate about community and disaster services to work at the Lexington Office of the Kentucky Red Cross! Assignments may include scheduling and presenting preparedness education to a wide audience, participation in DAT (Disaster Action Team) responses, assistance with recruiting and training volunteers and updating shelter agreements. Members commit to two semesters or a full year (Sept-August) of service, and receive significant benefits including a $2700-$5100 living allowance, a $1718-$3274 education award for tuition, training and professional development.
