Tonight Only: Guitar Concert--Holiday Favs and Guitar Solos!
The EKU Guitar Studio (FB: "EKU Guitarstudio") will present a concert of acoustic and electric works (rock, jazz, classical, and contemporary literature) for the guitar on November 22, 7:30PM in Gifford Theater. Selections include seasonal holiday works (including rock versions of Carol of the Bells & Angels We have Heard on High), Halleluia by Jeff Buckley, Rock favorites by Joe Satriani and Steppenwolf, a Jazz-Fusion hit by Mike Stern and Blue Bossa (Pat Martino), and perennial classical favorites from Bach to Brouwer.
