Philosophy and Religious Studies: The (in)compatibility between Buddhism and Science
In this Roundtable Series event, Dr. Abraham Velez will explore recent scholarly criticism of popular conceptions of the relationship between Buddhism and science. He will propose a new framework to accommodate diverse interpretations of the Buddha without falling into either absolutism or relativism. Discussion to follow.
