Canoeing and Kayaking at Maywoods- GRAND OPENING
Adventure Programs, Natural Areas, and Recreation and Parks administration have teamed up to provide a new opportunity to EKU students. Kayak and Canoe rentals will now be available at Maywoods Environmental and Educational Laboratory. Maywoods is one of EKU Natural Areas 3 beautiful properties. The 1,700 acre natural area and wildlife refuge nestled in the Knobs Region of Kentucky has 5 self-guided hiking trails, and Lake Edmiston which is perfect for canoeing and kayaking. This event will be the grand opening for the rentals. Come check out Maywoods and enjoy some free canoeing and kayaking! Shuttle services will be available through campus rec.
