The College of Letters, Arts, & Social Sciences (CLASS) is offering a $500 stipend to a graduating student to present a commencement speech at the Spring 2021 Graduation Ceremony. To be eligible, you must have applied for Spring or Summer 2021 graduation within CLASS. Are you an EKU student who is food insecure, experiencing hunger or a lack of access to food? If you are an EKU student interested in sharing your experiences with food insecurity, please contact us via email or phone. We are scheduling interviews now and throughout the spring semester. You will be interviewed by our research team and complete a survey. It will take ~ 1 hour. Participants will receive a $20 gift card to compensate them for their time. Join the EKU Counseling Center staff today for a workshop on Distress Tolerance. When life feels like you’re currently in the middle of an unfinished Jumanji game, your emotions can activate with a high degree of intensity. Changes in your daily routine and the people you’re around can lead to a mixture of emotions. These new experiences can be stressful. The tools provided in this workshop are aimed to provide you with skills to navigate these intense emotions and increase the positive experiences throughout your day.

Affirm is a collaborative group working toward acceptance through education and open discussion toward LGBTQ+ life experiences.
