The Department of Mathematics & Statistics will hold its first Coffee Time event of the semester with "Careers in Math Education: Panel Discussion." Alumni panelists will include Katie DeSimone, Madison County Schools; Heidi Little, Scott County Schools; Jeremy Miller, Lee County Schools; Keeley Ridner, Fayette County Schools; and Alex White, Model Laboratory School.

The Office of Military and Veterans Affairs, in partnership with EKU African and African American Studies, and the KY Center for Veterans Studies, will host "For Love of Liberty," a PBS documentary about the contributions of Black service members throughout American history. The film will be followed by a discussion with distinguished veteran panelists. There are two opportunities to watch and join in the discussion.

Pathfinders is an affirming weekly support group for students who are first generation college students. At EKU, a student is considered "first gen" if they are the first in their family to attend a four-year university or if neither of their parents/guardians have completed a bachelor’s degree. Some first gen students may have older siblings who have attended college. This virtual group is provided by the EKU Counseling Center and is hosted through a secure video platform.

The EKU Counseling Center is providing easy access to informal, confidential conversations with our professional mental health clinicians!
