The third stop in our trip around the Spanish-speaking world is today. This time the turn is for Venezuela. The College of Letters, Arts, & Social Sciences (CLASS) is offering a $500 stipend to a graduating student to present a commencement speech at the Spring 2021 Graduation Ceremony. To be eligible, you must have applied for Spring or Summer 2021 graduation within CLASS.

Join the staff of the EKU Counseling Center today for a workshop on Mindfulness. Being isolated in quarantine can lead to spending a lot of time on various activities that take your attention away from the present moment. Practicing mindfulness can be a great opportunity to improve your mental health by challenging yourself to be present and aware of your thoughts and feelings. In this workshop, you will learn tools that can help you practice mindfulness and work towards reducing and preventing stress, anxiety, depression, as well as many other concerns you may be experiencing. This group is for individuals that have been negatively impacted by growing up in an alcoholic, drug addicted or otherwise unpredictable family environment. Topics often discussed include understanding the impact of these family patterns, learning how to recognize and develop healthy relationships, and addressing negative beliefs about oneself.

Move the Tissues is trauma-informed yoga for trauma survivors.
